Abstract: The Chemistry Education and Communication Research (CECR) theme invites you to a short series of project talks by Stephen George-Williams, Reyne Pullen and Shane Wilkinson. The topics considered will include the use of AR/VR in teaching, the role of the laboratory in teaching chemistry, investigations into open tutorial activities and, finally,  the effect of the online exams on exam construction and student performance. Each talk will provide a brief overview designed to give an impression of the kind of work undertaken by the theme.
